Bắc Trung Bộ
Bắc Trung Bộ ( Vietnamese for north-central part of the country ) is an area in Vietnam . It borders Laos and the South China Sea .
It includes the provinces of Thanh Hóa , Nghệ An , Hà Tĩnh , Quảng Bình , Quảng Trị and Thừa Thiên-Huế . Much of the area's population is made up of Kinh and ethnic minorities such as the Vân Kiều , Rục , Bru , Chứt and Tày . The largest city in the region is Huế .

Bắc Trung Bộ has 3 UNESCO World Heritage titles out of 7 in Vietnam; the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park , the memorial complex at Huế and Nhã nhạc (“ceremonial music” or “elegant music”).
