Here is a series of programs that has been broadcast daily on SWR television since August 31, 1998, within the Rhineland-Palatinate state show . The respective programs are about six minutes long. In each episode, a place in Rhineland-Palatinate is briefly portrayed. Usually, unusual residents, special groups and associations of the place are discussed.
The first place was Rhodt under Rietburg .
consequences
Originally, 2306 episodes on the politically independent cities and municipalities in Rhineland-Palatinate were possible, see also: Category: Municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate . So far, however, over 2500 portraits of places have been taken. This is due to the fact that some places were visited several times over the course of time or programs were shot about non-independent districts and city districts. After each community has been portrayed, the series has switched to showing a corresponding portrait of individual streets in the towns.
