Higgsino
Higgsinos (summarizing formula symbol ) are the hypothetical fermionic super partners of the bosonic Higgs fields in supersymmetric theories of elementary particle physics .
Analogous to the number of Higgs fields, there are therefore a total of five Higgsinos in the MSSM :

Mixture to mass eigenstates
Due to matching quantum numbers ( spin , electrical and color charge ), the Higgsinos mix as interaction eigenstates with the unobservable Gaugino superpartners of the W and B fields, the Winos and the Bino , to the following observable mass eigenstates :
- four electrically neutral Majorana fermions : the Neutralinos or (from the neutral Gauginos and or the Photino and the Zino and the neutral Higgsinos and or and )
- two pairs of electrically charged Dirac fermions : the Charginos / and / or / and / (from the charged Gauginos and or and as well as the charged Higgsinos and ).
In contrast, in the standard model, no Higgs fields are necessary for the mixing of the corresponding fields of the electroweak interaction as a result of spontaneous symmetry breaking to be observable:
- Mixing of the fields W 0 and B 0 to form the neutral Z bosons and photons
- Mixing of fields W 1 and W 2 to form the charged W + and W - bosons .
