Highland Road Park Observatory

The Highland Road Park Observatory ( English Highland Road Park Observatory ; observatory code 428), also known as Baton Rouge Observatory , is an astronomical observatory in Baton Rouge in the US state of Louisiana at a height of 5 meters above sea level. d. M. It is jointly operated by the Astronomical Faculty of Louisiana State University , the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society, and The Recreation & Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge . A Ritchey-Chrétien-Cassegrain telescope with an aperture of 510 mm (20 ") is available as the main instrument .
