Ilarion by Dorostol
Ilarion of Dorostol (also spelled Hilarion, Bulgarian Иларион Доростолски / Ilarion Dorostolski; native Dimitar Draganov Zonew Bulgarian Димитър Драганов Цонев * 12. January 1913 in Elena , Bulgaria ; † 28. October 2009 in Varna , Bulgaria) was Metropolitan of the Diocese of Dorostol of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church from 2003 to 2009. He is the maternal descendant of Ilarion Makariopolski .
The Bishop of Branizi Amwrosij was elected as the successor to the office of Metropolitan of Dorostol .
