Hildegard Niemann , (* 1966 in Beckum ) is a German biologist and parrot expert . She works as an independent consultant for parrot owners. She is also an author and editor .

education and profession

She studied biology (specializing in zoology ) at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster from 1987 to 1992. Since 1996 she has been the author of specialist articles on parrots and parakeets. From 2003 to 2017 she was a member of the editorial team of the WP magazine of Arndt-Verlag . Since 2004 she has been working as a freelance Parrot Behavior Consultant, a consultant for keeping problems of parrots. She is certified by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and is managed by her as a consultant for parrots in Germany. Hildegard Niemann has written several guides on parrot birds that have been translated into Spanish, Polish, French, Slovenian and Czech, among others. You have achieved several editions.

Hildegard Niemann is married to Rainer Niemann and has two children.
