A few years after the fall of the Wall , the 35-year-old bricklayer Heinz and the 40-year-old carpenter Horst work six weeks to pull up a house in a village in the north of the former GDR . For the topping-out ceremony, the client already puts out beer and schnapps at seven in the morning. When the foreman arrives at ten o'clock, he can no longer let the drunk on the scaffolding. During the past few weeks, Heinz and Horst have always wanted to know what the delightful exotic women actually have to offer in their live show in this bar "Heaven on Earth", which is opposite the construction site. According to the advertising poster, admission is free and the exotic women allegedly show their revealing performances around the clock. Horst imagines a slender-eyed girl from Thailand , Taiwan or Tahiti under an exotic girl . The two construction workers enter the bar and take a seat in their dirty work clothes. Heinz and Horst only find the 60-year-old factotum Elsa. Elsa introduces the two only guests to the unwritten rules of the game. There is only a performance after the guests have each ordered a drink à la carte. The appearance of one of the exotic women who actually appears but has no slanting eyes at all fails because of the horrific prices. Knauser Heinz wants to save all the money for a mineral water and spend it together with his wife and the two boys in the afternoon on the fairground. Horst is not that stingy. The carpenter comes closer to Yvonne - that's the name of the 35-year-old dancer - and also wants to pay for Heinz so that the performance finally works. It doesn't come to that. In the conversation with Yvonne it turns out that the dancer lives in the neighboring village of Zarrentin and is an unemployed trained draftswoman who once attended the same vocational school with Heinz. Insider Yvonne also knows that Heinz is called Achim and has learned to be a painter. Indeed, Achim's employer went bankrupt. That is why the painter now works as a trained bricklayer. On the construction site he is called to be clear by the construction workers Heinz.

Heinz gets up and makes off. He has to be careful that his in-laws, who live nearby, don't see him. Yvonne recommends Horst to come back in the evening when it is really busy. Horst is not averse, because he not only likes this woman as a draftsman. Yvonne urgently advises him to pocket at least a hundred in this case.
