José Ramiro Pellecer Samayoa
José Ramiro Pellecer Samayoa (born October 10, 1929 in Antigua Guatemala ) is an auxiliary bishop emeritus in Guatemala .
Life
The Archbishop of Guatemala , Mariano Rossell y Arellano , ordained him as a priest on July 9, 1950 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Guatemala . Paul VI appointed him on November 28, 1967 auxiliary bishop in Guatemala and titular bishop of Teglata in Proconsulari .
The Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador and Guatemala Bruno Torpigliani donated him episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Mario Cardinal Casariego y Acevedo CRS , Archbishop of Guatemala, and Rafael González Estrada , Auxiliary Bishop in Guatemala.
On October 2, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
