Menhir (Deidesheim)

Menhir

The menhir near the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Deidesheim is a boulder with notches that were made to mark a border. It is located at the entrance of the Sense Valley in the Palatinate Forest on the eastern border of the Deidesheim city forest. It bears the Deidesheim forest logo, a cross extended by a crossbar, and the boundary stone number 255.

The menhir is classified as both a cultural and a natural monument.
