Hinrich Frese
Hinrich Frese , also Friso or Vrese , (* before 1359, † after 1365) was a patrician and mayor of Rostock .
Life
Hinrich Frese came from an old patrician family. The family had been known since 1282 and died out in 1580. He was first mentioned as mayor in 1359. In 1363/64 he represented Rostock at the Hanseatic Days in the war against Waldemar of Denmark . In 1364 Frese, together with Arnold Kröpelin and Johann von der Kyritze in Stralsund, was involved in the negotiations for an armistice agreement with Waldemar, in 1365 in the negotiations with Denmark and in the ratification of the Vordingborg agreements in Rostock. Hinrich Frese belonged to the ducal court in Rostock in 1365.
