Hinrich rapeseed powder
Hinrich Rapesulver († 1440 in Lübeck ) was a merchant and mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
Rapesulver became Lübeck councilor in 1406 and left the city with the old council in 1408 . In 1416 he came back to the council with the return of the old council. Along with Jordan Pleskow and Konrad Brekewoldt, he was one of the leading politicians of his time in Lübeck. He represented the city and the Hanseatic League as a whole in a large number of diplomatic missions and negotiations. In addition, due to his financial situation, he was able to provide the city with the necessary financial resources for projects through bonds, such as the purchase of Behlendorf . In 1429 he and Johann Bere loaned the city of Lübeck the amount of 4,000 marks Lübisch for the purpose of waging war . With his will from 1439 he favored a large number of foundations in Lübeck.
Hinrich Rapesulver lived from 1407 to 1431 at Fleischhauerstrasse 19, later at Königstrasse 39. He belonged to the circle society . In Lübeck citizens' wills he is listed several times as a documentary witness and guardian .
