Hipólito San José Giral del Pino (* 18th century ; † 18th century) was a British Romance scholar , Hispanist, grammarian and lexicographer of Spanish origin.

life and work

Giral del Pino (or Giral Delpino) was a Spanish teacher at the English court. He emerged with a Spanish grammar and a bilingual Spanish-English and English-Spanish dictionary, both in continuation of the books by Peter Pineda . Giral del Pino's dictionary was best known in the adaptation of Giuseppe Baretti and was cannibalized across Europe.
