Hip Hop Studies

Hip Hop Studies is a collective term for the scientific, interdisciplinary study of Hip Hop . This can be done from the perspectives of musicology , sociology , history , literary studies , other disciplines or combined accesses. The term is not used by every author.

In university teaching

The Hiphop Archive & Research Center has existed at Harvard University since 2002 . The University of Arizona at Tucson offers a Hip Hop diploma. There is the Hiphop Academy at the University of Wuppertal .
