Hippocoon (father of the zeuxippe)

Hippocoon ( Greek Ἱπποκόων , the horse connoisseur ) is the father of the zeuxippe in Greek mythology .

He married his daughter to Antiphates , king of Argos . Nothing more is known about the Hippocoon. It cannot be ruled out that he is identical with Hippocoon of Amyklai or with Hippocoon , the king of Sparta .
