Hirokazu Sasaki ( Japanese 佐 々 木 博 和 , Sasaki Hirokazu ; born February 16, 1962 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sasaki learned to play soccer on the school team at Osaka Sangyo University High School . He signed his first contract with Matsushita Electric in 1980 . 1985/86 he was with the club champions of the Japan Soccer League Division 2 and rose to Division 1. At the end of the 1986/87 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1987/88 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. In 1990 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club, he completed 88 first division games. In 1992 he moved to league rivals Verdy Kawasaki . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1993 . In 1994 he moved to the second division club Cerezo Osaka . In 1994 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of 1995 he ended his career as a football player.
