Hiroyuki Hasegawa

Hiroyuki Hasegawa ( Japanese 長谷川 博 幸 , Hasegawa Hiroyuki ; born January 19, 1957 in Fukui Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player .

Career

Hiroyuki Hasegawa won the Japanese men's singles championships in 1980, 1982 and 1983. In 1982 he also won the men's doubles with Yukihiro Miyamoto . In 1987 he was successful again in mixed with Hiromi Moriyama . In the 1982 Thomas Cup he was fifth with the Japanese men's team. In his participation in the World Championships in 1980, 1983 and 1985, he was able to advance three times to the second round in five starts.

In 1992 Hasegawa was the coach of the Japanese badminton team at the Olympic Games in Barcelona. 2007 “team leader” at the Universiade in Bangkok.
