Hirschbrunnen describes a natural pool in the Deisenhofen forest near Sauerlach . The deer fountain is located right next to a forest path, via which it can also be reached from Sauerlach. In addition to an open gravel pit, it is the only surface water of note in the Deisenhofen Forest.
