Hisashi Tsuzawa

Hisashi Tsuzawa ( Japanese 津 沢 寿 志 , Tsuzawa Hisashi ; born June 8, 1948 ) is a former Japanese judoka who was world champion in the weight class up to 70 kilograms in 1971.

Hisashi Tsuzawa won the title at the Japanese championships in 1971. At the World Championships in 1971 he defeated Antoni Zajkowski from Poland in the pool final and Dietmar Hötger from the GDR in the semi-finals . In the final he defeated his compatriot, defending champion Hiroshi Minatoya . In 1972 and 1974, Tsuzawa took third place at the Japanese championships, but could no longer qualify for international assignments.
