Hispano Villiers SA was a Spanish engine manufacturer.

It was founded in 1951 and produced combustion engines under the license of the English Villiers Engineering Company Ltd . Harry Walker S. A., which had already built small vehicles in Spain during the First World War, was transferred to the Villiers S. A. company.

In 1953 the series engine type 101 M came on the market. The single-cylinder monoblock two-stroke engine with a displacement of 121.67 cm³ developed 6 hp at 4500 rpm. 1954 followed the model 6M with 197 cm³ displacement and built-in three-speed manual transmission. At the end of 1954, the M6 ​​was also produced with a four-speed gearbox.

1958 followed a two-cylinder engine with 250 cm³ and 325 cm³ displacement. These versions were already equipped with an electric starter . The 250cc and 350cc engines were later delivered to the English factory of the Spanish motorcycle factory Sanglas .

Villiers engines were used in numerous small cars of the time, for example in the brands Aisa , Auto-Tri, Biscúter , Cofersa, Delfín , FH , Gaitan , Huracán , Jet , Junior , Pulga , Roa , Samoes and Triver .

In 1960, Hispano Villiers S. A. was transferred to Hispanomotor S. A. in Rubí near Barcelona , which manufactured motors for water pumps and industrial units under the Lombardini brand .

Lombardini S. A. is one of the twenty leading diesel engine manufacturers in Spain.
