The hit lists of the north are broadcasts on NDR television , whereby viewers can vote their favorites for the program via the Internet.

In the hit lists of the north , various programs are broadcast over the current year, where certain ranking lists are presented by viewers. Priority is given to TV breakdowns, news events and personalities who have caused a sensation in the mass media over the past decades. The hit lists were first broadcast in 2004.
