Thomas Pommer

Thomas Pommer (born May 23, 1973 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German television presenter and producer .

Career

After graduating from high school, he went to the Stadttheater Wilhelmshaven as an actor. There he played in the ensemble of the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord roles in z. B. West Side Story or Jungle Book .

After a short time as a freelancer, he began a traineeship at the news channel n-tv in Berlin in 1994 . From March 1996 he moderated sports programs there, later the satirical weekly review “ n-tv NachSchlag ” and after the show was canceled again sports.

At NDR television , Thomas Pommer was a guest presenter on “ Zapp ” and hosted the quiz show “Talk and Games”. From April 2004 to July 19, 2007 he moderated the weekly satirical magazine " extra 3 ". From December 2005 to December 2007 he presented the program “ Top Flops - The funniest TV breakdowns ” on NDR television .

In July 2007 he switched to behind the camera and became head of entertainment at Friedrich Küppersbusch's production company "probono" . In this position as executive producer he is currently responsible for the pop culture magazine “Bauerfeind” on “ 3sat ”.

From August 2011 to May 2012, Pommer and Shary Reeves hosted the sports program Saturday LIVE every two weeks . on the pay TV broadcaster Sky .
