Florian Weber (moderator)
Florian Weber (born June 24, 1976 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German television presenter and actor .
Life
After graduating from the English Institute in Heidelberg, Florian Weber studied political science in Munich, wrote his thesis with Werner Weidenfeld and obtained a master's degree .
As early as 2001, he moderated the call-in program News nach Neun on the tm3 broadcaster .
As an actor he appeared alongside Ruth Drexel and Uschi Glas in the multi-part ARD television film Zwei am Großer See .
From 2008 to 2011 Weber was a live reporter and presenter for NDR television . In the daily broadcast My Afternoon , he was an outside reporter with his team in the NDR broadcasting area until December 2009 and presented reports. He also has the show What does the north deserve? (2008), the entertainment show Top Flops - The funniest TV breakdowns (2009 and 2010) and the TV quiz Who Has Seen It? (2010 and 2011) moderated.
From October 20, 2009 to November 3, 2011 Weber moderated a knowledge quiz from 6:50 p.m. The Duel in the First , initially Tuesday to Friday, later limited to fewer days of the week . A maximum of 100,000 euros could be won in the varied guessing game. They waved to the candidates who lasted five rounds of play against changing opponents. After Jörg Pilawa hosted his show Das Quiz for the last time on September 7, 2010, Das Duell im Erste has also been shown on the old Pilawa slot (7:20 pm) since then . This means that two episodes of Das Duell im Erste were broadcast on the ARD evening program from 6:50 p.m.
2009–2019 he moderated the TV program ARD-Buffet in the first at SWR . He has also moderated the knowledge and entertainment show Masters of Everyday Life on SWR since 2012 and the Baden-Württemberg state show since 2014 .
Florian Weber lives with his family in Munich.
