Although she had never played publicly before, she sent a demo tape to a local producer in Osaka on a whim . Azora Records released their first song Howling , which was initially only played on the three largest radio stations in Tokyo. She then signed a contract with Toshiba EMI and released her singles B'Coz I Love You and My Sweet Darlin ' . This was followed by her first album Dayia-Monde .

Yaida married on July 29, 2007. All that is known about her husband is that he is one year older and works for a music company.

Trivia

She loves to "play" with anagrams . The title of her first album daiya-monde is an anagram of her name, combined with the French "monde" - translated as "Yaida's world" or an interpretation of the English word "diamond". i / flancy is an anagram for "I can fly", a song title from the third album, while the title of their album Air / Cook / Sky is an anagram for "Yaiko Rocks".

reception

After Ken Hirai and Hikaru Utada , Yaiko was the third Japanese singer to make an MTV Unplugged appearance. Her song Buzzstyle was released in 2001 as an English version by the Irish girl band Bellefire in Japan under the title Buzzstyle (Find My Way) .
