Hjulsta is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Tensta district . The station is served by the Blå linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 2,000 commuters get on there.
The station went into operation on August 31, 1975 as the 87th station of the Tunnelbana, when the subway section T-Centralen -Hjulsta was inaugurated. The station has two underground tracks. The station is the terminus of the T10 line on Blå linjen. It is about thirteen kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
