The Hobbs Stream is a seasonal meltwater river on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows from the end of Hobbs Glacier into Salmon Bay .

The river is, but not yet by name, mentioned in publications on the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913). Scientists from a campaign carried out from 1958 to 1959 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after the name of the Hobbs Glacier. It is named after the American glaciologist William Herbert Hobbs (1864–1953).
