The Hochalm is a dilapidated Alm in the Bavarian Prealps , first mentioned in 1529. The Alm is the highest point of the Schergenwieser Berg , which is also marked by a summit cross .

geography

The Hochalm is mentioned in several hiking guides and online portals and is a relatively often visited summit. Access can be from the north, south-east and south. The easiest access to the Alm is via the Achenpass and the Mitteralm from the southeast. From the south, the path leads from a hiking car park at the east end of the Sylvenstein reservoir via the Höllei-Alm to the Mitteralm and then on the path already mentioned. The Alm from Winkel, a district of Lenggries , can also be reached via a path on the north side of the Schergenwieser Berg .

history

Two buildings are marked on historical maps, of which only foundations can be found.
