Hoche is an underground station on line 5 of the Paris Métro . It is located in the Paris suburb of Pantin . The name of the station is derived from the rue Hoche , which is named after the French general Lazare Hoche .
The station was put into operation on October 12, 1942 with the opening of the Gare du Nord - Église de Pantin section of line 5.
