Lillian Molieri Bermúdez (born January 18, 1925 in Managua , † September 13, 1980 ibid) was a Nicaraguan actress .

Life

Lillian Molieri Bermúdez's parents were Mélida Bermúdez and Luis Arturo Molieri Orozco, director of the Banco Nacional de Nicaragua and from 1958 to 1960 Luís Somoza Debayle's ambassador to the German government in Bad Godesberg . The Molieri had landed in Basilicata in the service of Napoleon Bonaparte . As a result of the Risorgimento , the brothers Próspero, Francesco and Juan Bautista Molieri from Savigliano came to El Realejo as members of an orchestra in the middle of the 19th century .

From 1940 Lillian Molieri Bermúdez lived with her brother Ronald Molieri in Los Angeles and belonged to Barbara Carrera , Adán Vivas, Gabry Rivas (born January 31, 1890, † 1969 in Brussels ), Miguel Escoto Muñoz, the father of Miguel Escoto Brockmann and the Actor Joaquín Elizondo to Nicaraguan celebrities in the USA. Her circle of acquaintances included Jack Lemmon , Jerry Lewis , Rex Harrison and Johnny Weissmüller . In 1945 she got a role in Tarzan and the Leopard Woman . Bermúdez played a wife of the king in Anna and the King of Siam (1946), a film about Anna Leonowens , directed by John Cromwell .

In 1960 Lillian Molieri Bermúdez returned to Managua, opened a theater school and danced with Anthony Dexter (Walter Reinhold Alfred Fleischmann, born January 19, 1913 in Talmadge, Nebraska; † March 27, 2001 in Greeley , Colorado) at the Teatro González , La Vida de Rodolfo Valentino .
