Hochheimer Hofmeister

The Hochheimer Hofmeister is a Rheingau vineyard near the town Hochheim am Main and belongs to Großlage Daubhaus in the wine-growing region Rheingau .

Name origin

The name of this 34 hectare site comes from the ownership rights of the archbishop's court master from 1363.

Vineyard

The soils consist of loess loam and loess with tertiary gravelly marls . The wines from here are elegant and have a fine acidity, the aromas only develop after a certain maturity.
