HT pipes

High temperature pipe (short: HT or HT pipe ), colloquially in Austria also POLO-KAL pipe , according to the word mark of a manufacturer, is used for sewer pipes in buildings (up to the outer wall, see below) and is heat-resistant up to 95 ° C. The gray polypropylene (PP) pipes are also resistant to salts, alkalis and acids.

Special adapters make it possible to connect HT pipes with cast or other metal pipes.

HT pipes are available in sizes DN  32 to DN 160 and in lengths between 150 and 5000 mm. Elbows and branches are available with angles from 15 ° to 87.5 °.

If there are increased requirements for sound insulation , PP or AS pipes made of mineral fiber-reinforced plastic or red-brown SML pipes made of gray cast iron are used.

HT pipes are not outdoors or in the ground ( base pipe used), here the more robust, mostly light brown is channel base pipe (tube) is used.
