Courtyard from Breitenbach
The courtyard from Breitenbach is a group of two houses from Breitenbach , a district of Ehringshausen . The listed buildings were demolished in Breitenbach and in the Hessenpark translocated . There they form part of the assembly group H - Central Hesse.
The buildings
The ensemble consists of a former barn from 1696, which was also used as a forge, and a farm building from the beginning of the 18th century, which was later used as a residential building.
The small blacksmith's shop with the previous address at Kreisstraße 14 belonged to an abandoned farmstead that had been a blacksmith's shop since 1883. The building consists of brick and cinder block masonry , the knee floor of half-timbering. The originally open forge in the front part still had all the equipment at the old location.
The three-story farm building was converted into a residential building at the beginning of the 20th century. The state of the 1950s has been restored in Hessenpark since September 15, 2013. During this time four tenants with a total of eleven residents lived in the building with a floor area of 50 m².
