Hofeshaus in the Leimbach
The Hofeshaus in Leimbach (house address Winchenbachstraße 8 ) is a listed former manor in the Wuppertal district of Barmen in the Sedansberg residential area . The building belonged to the Obere Leimbach residential area west of the Leimbach , a tributary of the Wupper .

The two-story, half- timbered house with a gable roof was built as a multi- storey farmhouse with a cantilevered upper floor. The half-timbered structure can be seen on the southern gable, the western and northern sides were clad with wooden shingles. To the east, the roof is towed low over a later extension.
A historic hallway with the former fireplace, chimney, mantelpiece, sandstone floor and staircase is still present inside the building.

The building was constructed in the late 17th century.
On February 26, 1986, the Hofeshaus in der Leimbach was recognized as an architectural monument and entered in the list of monuments of the city of Wuppertal. The entry was made with the mention of the historical interior, which is now part of the protected status.
