The Hoffischerei is a listed building in the town of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , parts of the previous building that have survived are listed as architectural monuments under registration number 094 86686 .

The building at Promenade 9 is part of a former ducal court fishery. The three-storey building was built in 1696 and was the office of the ducal court fisheries. The fish ponds were located in the area towards the bus station . The decorations on the facade come from the sculptor Andreas Griebenstein.

After the fall of the Wall , the building fell into disrepair. In 2002, the Urban Development Committee approved the demolition of the building. A replacement building was created in 2012, including the historical cellars, which retained the appearance of the facade and the unusual roof structure. This is now used by an old people's home as part of assisted living.
