Hofmark Öberau

The Hofmark Öberau was a closed Hofmark based in Öberau , a district of the city of Straubing in Lower Bavaria .

The Hofmark belonged to the Canons Pfaff Münster in Münster . In 1551 Linhart Hochholzer zu Öberau received from Hofmarksherrn Bernhart von Waldkirch, provost of the Pfaffmünster monastery, personal property rights on the farm of Öberau. In 1581 the seat of the monastery chapter was moved to Straubing. In 1643 it was reported that the farm in Öberau had burned down. Until the secularization in Bavaria , Öberau remained in possession of the monastery chapter.

On October 26, 1803, the court justice passed to the Straubing Regional Court , the goods came to the Straubing Rent Office .
