At the end of the 14th century, the Hofmark Iffeldorf came into the possession of the noble von Höhenkirchen , who at that time also owned the Hofmark in Königsdorf . Their castle was on the property of today's elementary school.

In the second half of the 16th century the people of Höhenkirchen experienced a heyday. During the Thirty Years War , the castle burned down in 1634. The Höhenkirchner, who became increasingly impoverished in the following years, had to sell Hofmark Iffeldorf to the Wessobrunn monastery in 1653 , where it remained until the secularization of 1803.
