The Hofmark Schambach was a closed Hofmark based on Schambach Castle in Schambach , a district of the community of Straßkirchen in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

The Hofmark belonged to the von Trenbach family , who remained the owners until the Thirty Years' War . Then she came briefly to St. Emmeram Abbey in Regensburg and later again in private hands.

In 1813, Count Franz Gabriel von Bray , who lived in Irlbach in 1811, bought the castle with important property at auction .
