Hohenacker lies on a narrow ridge on the left bank of the Brettachtal . The properties are partly on the Adolzfurt marker, partly on the Scheppach marker, so that the living space belongs to both Bretzfeld districts.

history

Hohenacker goes back to a single farm which was divided into two parts in 1686 and to which 25 acres belonged. In 1771 10 subjects in Hohenacker received 41 more acres of forest to be cleared, in 1809 23 inhabitants were counted and the hamlet was part of the municipality of Adolzfurt from the same year. In 1839 the development extended to the district of Scheppach, in 1861 there were already two houses there.
