Hohenburgermühle
The Hohenburgermühle is a residential area in the Fronhofen district of the municipality of Bissingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau . The wasteland lies below the ruins of Hohenburg Castle and is a protected architectural monument .
history
The mill was first mentioned in 1455, it belonged to the Hohenburg-Bissingen rule . The building complex consists of a U-shaped system with a residential building, grinding mill and sawmill . The mill was built in 1890 and the house was extended in 1921. The technical equipment of the disused mill is still available today. The grinding mill was shut down in 1966 and the sawmill in 1968.
