Hohenems Literature Prize

The Hohenems Literature Prize for German-speaking authors with a non-German mother tongue has been awarded every two years in the city of Hohenems in Vorarlberg since 2009 .

The prize was suggested by Michael Köhlmeier . A main prize of 10,000 euros and a recognition prize of 3,000 euros were awarded; since 2017 the endowment of the prize has been reduced to 7,000 euros.

The literary prize is organized by the association Viertel Forum and the cultural department of the city of Hohenems in cooperation with the reading society in the Jewish Museum Hohenems .
