In January 2015 appeared to her multi-perspective narrated first novel astronauts in Verlag CH Beck . Fabian Thomas wrote about it in Die Zeit online : “Astronauten is a convincing ensemble novel with the socially critical claim of taking a look at the fragmented realities of life in the big city. In the interplay of the action elements scattered like a mosaic, literature of great artistry is created here. ”In 2016 she received the Reinhard-Priessnitz Prize for Astronauts .

She is co-founder of the authors' alliance nazisundgoldmund.net (blog online since 2016), which sees itself as "a many-headed poetological monster that critically observes the developments and actions of the European right and its international alliances."

In spring 2019 she published her poetry debut protocols of the present in the publishing house Berlin, Jan Kuhlbrodt writes in the signature magazine: "Gugic reformulates the political poem".

In autumn 2020 her second novel Zorn und Stille was published by Hoffmann und Campe, about which Paul Jandl writes in the NZZ: “Zorn und Stille is not a first-person narrative about continental ways of life, as there are now many, but an almost parable-like reflection on life plans and their failure. The fact that the disintegration of Yugoslavia is the big bracket for a centrifugal family history is what makes Gugić's novel really funny. "
