Léda Forgó (born July 27, 1973 in Kazincbarcika , Hungary ) is a Hungarian-German writer.

Life

Léda Forgó lived in Budapest until shortly after graduating from high school . There she played in several films as a child actress, including in 1984 in the Oscar- nominated drama Hiobs Revolte . In 1994 she moved to Stuttgart, where she studied history and puppet theater at the University of Music and Performing Arts .

Forgó moved to Berlin in 1998 to study scenic writing at the University of the Arts , which she completed in 2002. From 2003 to 2005 she lived in Brandenburg an der Havel , then again in Berlin. In 2011 she moved to a village in Schleswig-Holstein . She has lived in Hamburg with her twin daughters since 2014.
