Hohengüstow is a district of the municipality of Uckerfelde in the Brandenburg district of Uckermark .

history

Hohengüstow was called Güstrow until the turn of the century and appeared for the first time in 1365 in a document from the squire Heinrich von Unsheyn . After the place was badly affected in the Thirty Years' War , it only grew slowly, until in the 1930s the area east of the B198 was sold to the regional company “Eigen Scholle” Frankfurt / Oder, which had housing estates built here.
