The Hohenlimburger Kleinbahn 6 locomotive was a tram locomotive of the Hohenlimburger Kleinbahn . The locomotive entered service in 1913 and was in service until World War II . It was manufactured by the Henschel locomotive factory .
history
After the Plettenberg tram had put the first tram locomotive with superheater into service a few months earlier , the Hohenlimburg Kleinbahn acquired such a locomotive. It was much stronger than the machines 1–3 and 4–5 that had been used up until then . The locomotive derailed at a siding and then crashed into the Nahmerbach , the recovery caused considerable difficulties. Its boiler was lost in 1944 during a transfer to the repair shop , so that it has been considered obsolete since 1945. Its frame was still there in 1949.
technology
The locomotive had no engine cowling, so that a clear view of the controls was possible. It had two steps to the driver's cab on each side of the vehicle . It had an outdoor engine with Heusinger-control , making an expensive crop axis could be avoided. The steam engine was equipped as a superheated steam engine with a Schmidt type superheater . The boiler was designed for a pressure of 15 bar.
