Hohenrad (desert)
Hohenrad was a settlement and from the beginning of the 14th century the name of a mill in Frankfurt am Main , about 1.5 kilometers west of the village of Oberrad on the Mühlberg. The settlement was at an altitude of 106 meters above sea level . In the course of its existence, the owner changed several times through purchase or fiefdom . Hohenrad probably went under at the beginning of the 14th century and became a desert . The field name Hohenroder Born still reminds of the settlement.
