Hohner SV

The Hohner SV ( Hohner Spielverein "Eintracht" from 1919 eV ) is a sports club from the Schleswig-Holstein village of Hohn with the divisions handball, tennis, gymnastics, gymnastics, gymnastics, badminton, judo, table tennis, recreational football and marksmen.

Field handball

The men's handball team of Hohner SV was one of the founding members of the double-track field handball Bundesliga in the 1967 season , but was relegated from bottom of the table. In the 1969 season, Hohner SV played again in the top division, but rose again as third from bottom of the table. In 1967 and 1969 two teams from what was then the Rendsburg district played in the Bundesliga. The district derbies against Büdelsdorfer TSV were well attended with up to 3,000 spectators. The Hohner striker Hans Dreller was appointed to the B national team during the first Bundesliga season. After the second Bundesliga relegation, two championships of the field handball Regionalliga-Nord followed in 1970 and 1971, a renewed promotion to the top division failed.

After the international and national cessation of field handball operations, Hohner SV played in the Schleswig-Holstein indoor handball league. Between 1991 and 2014 the association was part of the HSG Hohn / Elsdorf , since 2014/15 it has been part of the HSG Eider Harde .
