Salith Šumperk (until 2009 Hokej Šumperk 2003 ) is an ice hockey club from Šumperk , Czech Republic , which has been playing in the third class 2nd česká hokejová league of the Czech Republic since 2016 .

The association was founded in 1945 as TJ Železničář Šumperk . In 1969 the ice rink with a capacity of 3500 was opened. Until the 1990s, the club played on a regional level, before being promoted to the 2nd division as HC Šumperk in 1995 . In 1998 and 1999 the first team became champions of this league and in 1999 made it to the first division . But already in 2002 the relegation and the dissolution of the club followed.

As Hokej Šumperk 2003 , the club was re-established in 2003 and in 2007 managed to return to the first division. At the end of the following season, the team only reached the bottom of the table and rose again to the 2nd division.

At the end of the 2008/09 season, the club was champions of the eastern season of the 2nd division and prevailed in qualifying for the 1st division, so that the team played second class again from 2009. In the following season, the club rose again, before he again won the championship of the Eastern season in 2011 and took part in the league relegation. In this Salith Šumperk managed to return to the first division.

In 2016 he was relegated to the third division (2nd česká hokejová liga).
