The 2nd league (officially 2nd česká hokejová liga ) is the third highest division in Czech ice hockey . The league, which was formed in 1993 when the Czech Republic separated from Slovakia, is run by the Czech Ice Hockey Federation. The winner (s) of the playoffs of the 2nd division is entitled to participate in the 1st division delegation.
history
The league was founded in 1993 in the course of the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and created as the third highest division in the Czech Republic below the extra league and the first division . There are various regional championships below the 2nd division.
