The KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec ( Czech club ledního hokeje Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec ) is a currently inactive ice hockey club from Jindřichův Hradec , Czech Republic . He last played in the third division of the Czech Republic, the 2nd česká hokejová league, until 2017 .

history

From 1928 bandy was played in Jindřichův Hradec . A year later the first club called SRC Vajgar Jindrichuv Hradec was founded. The club's home games were played on a lake Vajgar , which inspired the naming. From 1950 the home games were played in the Tyrs Stadium and the club was renamed TJ Slovan Jindřichův Hradec . In 1973 a new ice rink was built in Jindřichův Hradec, which after opening became Slovan's home ground . Ten years later the Zimní Stadium in Jindřichův Hradec was roofed over. Since 2003 the association has been officially called KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec .

In 2017, the club stopped playing due to a lack of funding, but the club was not dissolved.
