Holger Büchner

Holger Büchner (born September 3, 1971 ) is a German radio presenter and editor .

Life

Büchner grew up in the Sauerland and studied in Aachen and Essen. He graduated from the University of Essen-Duisburg with a degree in communication sciences, psychology and German. This was followed by a radio traineeship. Büchner is an enthusiastic do-it-yourselfer and restores old scooters in his spare time.

Initially he moderated at Radio Sauerland and Radio Hagen . Büchner is currently working for SR 1 Europawelle , where he could be heard in the afternoon until the end of 2006. He was also co-author of the comedy "Rosetta - Tough Pirates Very Tender". Today Büchner moderates "Der Morgen im Saarland" (first with Susanne Stahnke, since May 2009 with Jessica Werner ) as one of two early teams. There he presents interviews, articles, weather and, with a wink, his home improvement calendar.

Büchner also works regularly as a newscaster for WDR television. He also presents regional news on WDR 2.
