Holger Schwichtenberg (* 1972 in Essen ) is a German author of IT books.

Career

Schwichtenberg studied business informatics at the University of Duisburg-Essen . In 2003 he received his doctorate with the thesis " Universal Component Trading - Dynamically expandable trading with heterogeneous software components " . He published his first book in 2000 with Addison-Wesley . Since then he has published books with German publishers Addison-Wesley, WEKA , Microsoft Press, Carl Hanser and O'Reilly and the US publisher APress. He is also active as an author for the specialist magazines iX , dotnetpro and Windows Developer as well as the news website Heise online . His professional focus is the development of web-based applications with JavaScript and TypeScript as well as Windows applications and server applications with .NET and C # .
